The Dodgers just keep getting better. After building the best pitching staff in baseball, Los Angeles added the best available pitcher before the trade deadline in Yu Darvish. The right-hander was lights-out in his first start with the club last week, picking up a win after tossing seven scoreless innings. Darvish allowed just three hits and one walk while striking out 10 against the Mets Friday.

Hyun-Jin Ryu was even better in his start Sunday. Ryu held the Mets to just one hit over seven scoreless frames. He struck out eight without a walk to earn the win. Ryu also tossed seven scoreless innings last Sunday against the Giants, and has a 0.95 ERA in three starts since returning from the DL July 24.
