SummerSlam is loaded this year, and the card is really starting to come close to its final form after RAW on Aug. 7. Here’s the updated card.
SummerSlam is just 13 days away, and we’re seeing the full card slowly come together in front of our eyes as each RAW goes along. After a slow burn the last few weeks, the card gained some serious ground over the last seven days, and WWE has quite the show planned for Aug. 20.
Not many huge matches were added due to most of the titles already being taken care of on each brand, but a few interesting singles matches were announced for The Biggest Party of the Summer. Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor’s battle was officially set, alongside another match featuring a shark cage this year, this time featuring Big Cass and the Big Show with Enzo Amore in the cage above the ring.
While multiple matches were added to the card, one was taken off and altered due to an injury. With Bayley out of action after hurting her shoulder on RAW last week, the RAW women’s title match is getting shaken up a bit, with the winner of Sasha Banks and Nia Jax’s match next week taking Bayley’s place against champion Alexa Bliss in a few weeks.
