Steelers at Giants live stream: TV schedule, time and more
The Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants renew acquaintances in this preseason contest. Check here where you can watch these teams square off.
There is suddenly a twist when it comes to this preseason matchup between the defending AFC North champion Pittsburgh Steelers and the always-interesting New York Giants.
We found out on Wednesday night that Mike Tomlin’s team got some great news when it came to wide receiver Martavis Bryant. The talented performer was conditionally reinstated by the NFL this spring after serving a one-year suspension in 2016. But Steelers’ general manager Kevin Colbert was notified Wednesday evening that conditions had changed. Hence the following statement (via Steelers.com):
"Martavis Bryant has been informed by the NFL that he is now permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including practices and games. He will continue to be evaluated as to his readiness to participate in regular-season activities under the terms of his conditional reinstatement."
So will we see Bryant when the Steelers take the field on Friday night in East Rutherford, New Jersey? Possibly. But not necessarily when it comes to game action. No doubt Tomlin would like to see what kind of condition the 25-year-old is in. Prior to this announcement, Bryant had still not been able to practice with the club.

What you won’t see is a lot of stars. As for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tomlin has already announced that rookie Josh Dobbs, a fourth-round pick from Tennessee, gets the start on Friday evening against the G-Men. For Ben McAdoo’s team, Geno Smith expects to be very busy as he attempts to revive his NFL career.
