Following Wednesday’s debut of “Part One,” the second-half of ABC’s The Story of Diana special concludes tonight and we’ve got all the details you need to watch online.
Wednesday night debuted the first part of The Story of Diana, ABC’s 20th anniversary special on Princess Diana, one of the most highly regarded people of our time. Though she passed away young, she left behind an enduring legacy as a mother, wife and leader.
Within the special, ABC debuted never-before-scene footage and exclusive interviews. But since it is, in fact, a special anniversary year, many outlets both here and abroad are covering her story. However, ABC’s special appears to be slightly more intensive.
As ABC explains:
"ABC and People announce a four-hour primetime television event on the extraordinary life of Princess Diana. The documentary event marking the 20th anniversary of her tragic passing at age 36, captures the most comprehensive interviews ever conducted on the woman known as the People’s Princess: in-depth conversations with those who knew her best, as well as the world’s leading Diana experts. These interviews are woven together with People’s unparalleled reporting, as well as captivating archival footage of the Princess of Wales."
As detailed, the special was put together by People and features a lot of new angles on a story many of us feel like we’ve heard before. Obviously, ABC and People aim to tell it in a new and refreshing way, hopefully with details you’ve never known unless you are a “leading Diana expert.”
