The Cowboys are coming off an impressive year after last season, and have the chance to get rolling again with their next preseason game against the Rams.

The Dallas Cowboys are living proof that preseason success can do wonders for your team, as their impressive performance last August got momentum rolling for Dak Prescott before he took over as the team’s starting quarterback for the year.

The Cowboys didn’t do well overall in the last preseason, as they went just 1-3 before the regular season, and bounced back to go 13-3 overall when it counted. They found themselves on both ends of the spectrum last year, with positives and negatives coming out of the preseason, and will look to replicate that this year.

This season, the team has five preseason games to deal with as opposed to the regular four, and their next stop comes in a trip to battle the Los Angeles Rams for their second game this August. The Rams will get their first taste of action for the year, looking to bounce back from a poor 4-12 year in 2016 in a lackluster NFC West.

The game will be nationally televised on the NFL Network, but you can always stream the game or watch a replay if you subscribe to NFL Game Pass for all of the preseason games.

The Cowboys have already matched their entire win total from last year’s preseason with their win in the Hall of Fame Game against the Arizona Cardinals, so anything at this point will be an improvement from last year. If that’s an indicator of anything, NFC East teams should look out if preseason success matches up with regular season performances.
