Titans at Jets live stream: TV schedule, time and more
The Tennessee Titans and New York Jets clash on Saturday evening at MetLife Stadium. Check here where you can watch these teams square off.
We are certainly not going to pass up a “Clash of the Titans” reference. Head coach Mike Mularkey’s highly-regarded club from Nashville visits MetLife Stadium this weekend to battle a franchise that was once known as the New York Titans before changing its nom de guerre to the J-E-T-S.
These days, that spells trouble for Todd Bowles’ team, which is searching for answers, especially at quarterback. The team has Josh McCown, Bryce Petty, Christian Hackenberg and Jason Vander Laan on the current depth chart. Unfortunately, none of them will be throwing to emerging wide receiver Quincy Enunwa, now on season-ending injured reserve. This was already an offense that opted to part ways with Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker this offseason. We should get a glimpse of the team’s top two draft choices in April in the form of safeties Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye.
Meanwhile, the Titans have been a vogue pick for months when it comes to winning the AFC South. It’s something the franchise hasn’t done since 2008, which is also the last time the team reached the playoffs. You figure to see very little of quarterback Marcus Mariota on this evening and a lot of second-year running back Derrick Henry. Mariota hopes to test out his legs after ending 2016 via a broken leg in Week 16.

It’s always hard to gauge exactly what you will see in a team’s first preseason action of the season. For the Tennessee Titans, they will look to fine tune that secondary. For the New York Jets, it’s been a year of massive renovations. And optimism isn’t very high regardless if this game counts or not.
