How much more blood will be shed in this week’s episode of Game of Thrones? The HBO series is getting into the meat of its season, and with the body count already rising, it’s only going to get worse this Sunday.

Season 7, episode 5 is called “Eastwatch” and it’s no spoiler to say that it involves Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) determined to further crush her enemies in the cruelest ways possible. That is a Game of Thrones staple, really. But she shouldn’t get too comfortable in power because there’s no shortage of people who will be waiting for her to make a mistake.

Elsewhere in this week’s episode, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is concerned about the White Walkers. Hopefully, they won’t kill him. Then there’s Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) demanding loyalty and making demands, which doesn’t always go well on Game of Thrones.

“Eastwatch” is an episode that could get thorny. And with Game of Thrones season 7 more than half over, “Eastwatch” is also an episode that could set things up for what’s left of the season, so you don’t want to miss it.
