Now that Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, let’s see when he plays his former team, the Indiana Pacers, now that the NBA schedule is out.
There was a lot of player movement in the offseason via free agency and trade. From Chris Paul teaming up with the Rockets to Jimmy Butler heading to the Timberwolves, the biggest offseason trade was actually Paul George landing with the Thunder.
Many had speculated if George would join the Lakers or Cavaliers via trade, but out of the blue, GM Kevin Pritchard sent his superstar to Oklahoma City for not much in return — Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.
Like with every trade in the NBA, fans are always intrigued to see when the player takes on their former team. So with the NBA Schedule out on Monday, when does George take on Indiana?
George will take on the Pacers in Oklahoma City on Oct. 25 and then head to Indiana for his return on Dec. 13 — which will be on ESPN.
The game at Indiana should be the one that most fans are looking forward to. While George said all the right things, most of the local die-hard fans in Indianapolis knew that PG13 wanted out badly and wanted to head for greener pastures in Los Angeles.
Will they give George the same treatment that LeBron James received in Cleveland or will it be more civilized? While the ex-Pacers’ superstar was everything for that franchise the last few years, the way that he asked to leave will never be forgotten.

For the Thunder, last season it was the games against Durant and the Warriors that were watched closely. This season, it might be the Pacers’ revenge games that might be followed closely.
