The official trailer for the Call of Duty: WWII private multiplayer beta is here. We’ll get a chance to test out the game prior to its launch.

At long last, Call of Duty is finally going back to “boots on the ground” gameplay with WWII. It has been a long and grueling three years, but classic Call of Duty is officially back. In all honesty, we couldn’t be happier. Although we did have some fun with the futuristic entries, specifically Black Ops III, it’s refreshing to see the game return to its roots. Modern Warfare Remastered was fun, but we want something new. WWII is looking like that’ll fill the void. and with the new private multiplayer beta trailer, it only gets us anxious to try it out next week.

The trailer is a little over a minute long, but it’s exactly what we want from WWII. We see plenty of “boots on the ground” gameplay, along with the World War II setting. With that setting comes a variety of unique and iconic weapons that’ll be a part of our arsenal. We also see some air warfare with fighter jets and plenty of explosives. It looks like an absolute blast.

Check out the trailer for yourself below:

In the beta, we’ll be able to try a variety of content the game has to offer before it launches later this year. For example, we’ll be able to play on brand-new maps and a new War Mode. We’ll also get a idea of how the five Divisions will work, which should prepare us a bit more for the full build of the game.

Lastly, if you’re a PlayStation 4 owner, you’re in luck. The first weekend of the beta will start next week on Friday, Aug. 25, and it comes first to PS4 users. Xbox One players, don’t worry. You’ll be able to jump in the weekend after.

Call of Duty: WWII launches on Nov. 3, 2017.
