5. Draymond Green

I know what you’re thinking. Draymond Green from the Golden State Warriors definitely does not belong on this list.

Hear me out for a second.

We can all agree that the antics outside of a boxing ring are as equally entertaining as the ones inside of it. Having said that, Green got into a small back and forth with McGregor over an old school Warriors jersey he was sporting a few weeks ago.

In the midst of Green admonishing McGregor for wearing the jersey, he also pledged his allegiance to Mayweather, which obviously did not sit well with the Irishman who fired back some vicious retorts of his own.

Although Green did not respond after, the interaction between these two bad boys was enough to create somewhat of an interest in this possible beef. Perhaps the most notable thing to come from it was how quickly Green got underneath McGregor’s skin over something as simplistic as an article of clothing.

Imagine what would happen if Mayweather asked Green to accompany him to the ring before his fight against McGregor? McGregor would have to listen to both Mayweather and Green run their mouths, which is a skill they have mastered and utilized throughout their careers.

Green accompanying Mayweather to the ring would be a fun distraction that has the potential to get McGregor more animated than usual before the fight.
