1. Nate Diaz

Be honest. You all saw this coming from a mile away. Well, at least you were prepared.

If Mayweather really wants to shake the confidence of McGregor before their fight, Nate Diaz is the man who should walk him out to the ring.

After an extremely successful run, McGregor met his match in Diaz and was defeated for the first time during his UFC tenure at UFC 196. Becoming the first man to defeat what seemed to be an unstoppable force in McGregor skyrocketed Diaz to a level of fame he hadn’t reached in his career yet.

With that defeat looming over his head, McGregor found himself in a position where he could no longer be that brash and overconfident character he had always been leading up to his fights.

The loss was symbolic because it was one of the very few times that we have seen the gazelle actually beat the lion.

Like everyone else, Mayweather saw the fight.  He used McGregor’s defeat as a means to discredit his chance of beating him in a boxing match because he believes that his opponent “likes to quit.” However, the only person who truly knows this is Diaz, which is why it would be incredible to see him walk out with Mayweather.

After this fight is done, McGregor may take a fight with Diaz to fulfill their epic trilogy in the UFC. Both men have a win over each other, but Diaz’s rear-naked choke is something that will be forever ingrained in the minds of fans and McGregor.

Seeing the person who defeated you last standing next to the person who has a chance in defeating you is something that could break even the generally outstanding focus and confidence McGregor has before his fights.

Mayweather and his team have already extended the invitation to Diaz for the walkout, but Diaz hasn’t given a response just yet.

In the event that Diaz says yes, we may have one of the best boxing walkouts of all time on our hands.
