Carm and Kayla tackle college football players stealing, baseball players trying too hard and proper names for a quarterback.
Bryce Harper injured his left knee and is out indefinitely. Harper was hustling as hard as he could on a wet baseball field. Memo to the baseball elite, stop it. Do not crash into walls, sprint on wet fields, or slide head first. Ever. You are too valuable to the ball club to put yourself in that position. No one wants to see a player loafing, I get it. The average player should bust it all the time. But, the elite need to be available everyday and take rational precautions. The Nationals would be way better off if Harper was out at first by ten feet after loafing down the line.
There are many positive ways to start a college football season. Purchasing items at the campus bookstore with your student identification cards, that didn’t have enough funds allegedly, then selling those items because you need money is not recommended. Reminder, we were all in college at one time and did regrettable things. Hopefully Florida’s football team will get back on the straight and narrow soon.
Here come the Cardinals, there slide the Cubs! Chicago still holds a slim lead in the National League Central, but the rivalry looks like it will add a 2017 division-chase chapter.
Names are important, especially for quarterbacks. New Chicago Bears signal caller Mitch Trubisky should demand that he is addressed as Mitchell Trubisky. Mitchell is a name you can trust. Mitch spends too much time out late night at your local establishment. Trubisky’s Mom would like it this way. Mom knows best.
