Where can you find the seventh episode of Snowfall online?
The sixth episode of Snowfall season 1 saw one of the first crossover moments between it’s storylines. Franklin was being beaten up, possibly about to be murdered by a gang who thought he was encroaching on their territory. Gustavo, who had just finalized a deal with them, stepped in to save him. This represented just the latest case of Gustavo serving as the show’s moral compass, and one of the rare interactions across the storylines.
That was a bright spot in an otherwise middling episode, as the lack of an overarching plot made it somewhat unfocused and slow. Entering the latter part of the season, Snowfall would do well to use the connections between its storylines. These could engage the audience and create some tension between characters the audience actually knows.
The first of the final three episodes, titled “Cracking,” airs this week. This title is likely a double entendre. Snowfall was originally sold to the audience as the origin of the crack epidemic, but that was not immediately clear. Franklin dealt in cocaine, but the moniker of “crack” never came up.
The other meaning could have to do with fracturing, or cracking ,relationships across the show. Franklin’s connection to his father has already been shown as less-than-solid, and Teddy is kind of estranged from his wife. Additionally, the business relationships, between Franklin and his dealer, Teddy and Alejandro, or Gustavo and Lucia, could be tested.
The synopsis for the episode reads:
"Franklin, Leon and Kevin take a game-changing road trip. Teddy deals with a sin from Alejandro’s past. Lucia makes Gustavo’s partnership official, much to Pedro’s dismay."

We also don’t know where Franklin and his friends are going, or how it will effect them. Following the assault in episode 6, Franklin can only make so many more mistakes before becoming completely incompetent. He already “got out” of the drug business once, and we saw how well that went for him. If the show wants to continue presenting Franklin as intelligent and perceptive, it is astonishing the the hasn’t realized there is no other side of the tunnel. Being involved in drugs can only pull you further into the violent world beneath. Maybe that’s the whole point, but maybe not.
Snowfall has four episodes (including “Cracking”) to decide — and to make the audience believe it too.
