2. Giannis and the Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks showed that they are a team to be taken seriously last year, making it into the playoffs behind their All-Star point forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. While they are not in the class of the Cleveland Cavaliers or Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference, they are a team on the rise with a nucleus of young players.

The Bucks not only make sense geographically but on the court as well. The Wade signing would hinge on Jason Kidd’s commitment to letting Giannis Antetokounmpo play point guard. Giannis could continue his meteoric rise up the NBA ranks with the addition of Wade. Surrounded by Wade, Kris Middleton, rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon and a hopefully healthy Jabari Parker, that team could start talking about Eastern Conference Finals. This is magnified by the ability Wade has shown to ramp up his play in the playoffs.

Milwaukee would be able to hide Wade on defense given the Greek Freak’s defensive prowess and Brogdon’s growing capability to guard point guards. Middleton is no slouch either on defense. Wade could effectively take the worst perimeter player on defense.

Jason Kidd is extremely creative as a coach and adding Wade would allow him to get even more creative with his plays and rotations. The Bucks are not normally a free-agent destination but the play of Giannis and Kidd being there might change that.

Wade will have to think long and hard following his buyout. If he is feeling nostalgic, the final destination on this list makes the most sense.
