1. Coming home to Miami

The divorce between the Heat and Wade was ugly. If the two sides were able to look past that, Wade coming back to Miami to finish his career makes sense. If LeBron James could get over Dan Gilbert’s letter than it is not out of the realm of possibility for Wade to look past the way his previous tenure in Miami ended.

This becomes even more true if Wade is willing to scale back his pay for this season. As mentioned previously, that cannot be ruled out given the amount of money Wade will make with his buyout from Chicago.

Wade could come home to Miami and join former All-Star Goran Dragic in the backcourt. This would kick Dion “Mr. Clutch” Waiters to the bench to at least start the games. Aside from the nostalgic aspect, this does not make much sense on the court.

Waiters had a great year and got rewarded this past off-season with a big contract from Miami to be their starting shoot guard. The Heat also inked James Johnson to a big deal. Their rotation looks pretty set entering next season.

Wade and the Heat make sense for those of us who like to see stars finish their career where they started. Other than that, it is tough to see the pairing work, but stranger things have happened.

Wade will have much more than five suitors for his services. It will be interesting to see where he signs, as it could have ripple effects on the entire league for this season and beyond.
