High Salary Guard

Courtney Vandersloot – Chicago Sky ($7,600): Courtney Vandersloot has been on a roll since Cappie Pondexter went down with a concussion at the beginning of July. Since then, she has taken the lead as the leading offensive presence on the Chicago roster. She has had at least 10 assists in her last six out of seven games and is virtually a lock for guaranteed fantasy points every time she steps on the court. Also keep in mind she had 41 fantasy points in her last game against Los Angeles in the middle of July which is also something to think about.

Diana Taurasi – Phoenix Mercury ($6,800): You can always count on Diana Taurasi for production. She is only $500 more than Monique Currie, who will likely see a diminished offensive role with the return of Brittney Griner, and continues to put up a good chunk of fantasy points. Taurasi will see her fair share of shots regardless of whether or not Griner is in the lineup and has been shooting lights out from behind the arch all season. I like Taurasi on Friday night, especially as we get closer to the playoffs and Phoenix is fighting for a higher playoff seed.

Chelsea Gray – Los Angeles Sparks ($5,800): Since we are stacked at the forward position on Friday night, we should be looking to cut corners. Jewell Lloyd is priced at $6,500 and though she will produce, you could get the same amount of fantasy production from Chelsea Gray, if not more. She has hit at least 20 fantasy points in the past six games and should be good to go against a Sky team that has been struggling all season. If you are looking to save some cash on Friday night, Gray has the potential to put up some serious points against Chicago.
