Here’s how you can watch and tune into to see NXT return to Brooklyn for the third time with NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III on Saturday night, the night before SummerSlam.
For the third time, the WWE NXT brand will venture from Full Sail University to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III on Saturday night.
In the previous two installments of NXT TakeOver in Brooklyn, the world was treated to some of NXT’s greatest matches ever, including the Bayley-Sasha Banks classic from the first NXT TakeOver in Brooklyn that could be considered the greatest women’s wrestling match in WWE history. Last year, Shinsuke Nakamura won the NXT Championship in the main event against Samoa Joe.
This year, the intrigue may not be as high as previous years, but the match quality shouldn’t be any less than we’ve previously seen from the brand in Brooklyn. The main event will feature the glorious Bobby Roode taking on Drew McIntyre for the NXT Championship, while the undefeated Asuka defends her NXT Women’s Championship against Ember Moon.
Another match on the card for Saturday to keep your eyes on is the match between another unbeaten star, Aleister Black, as he takes on the No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship from the previous NXT TakeOver in Chicago: Hideo Itami. The Authors of Pain will also defend the NXT Tag Team Championship on the show against the wild bunch known as SAnitY.
