Terence Crawford is one of boxing’s biggest rising stars. He has a unique combination of athleticism, skills, and punching power which could propel him to superstardom. He will put his talents on display for the world to see on Saturday, Aug. 19 in his home state of Nebraska at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. He faces undefeated Julius Indongo in a super lightweight unification bout.

Crawford has a perfect record of 31-0 with 22 knockouts. He has beaten several big-name opponents including Ricky Burns, Yuriorkis Gamboa and Viktor Postol. Crawford is the WBC and WBO super lightweight champion, and has the unique ability to switch stances at will with solid power in both hands. Crawford is an exciting fighter to watch.

Julius Indongo is a bit of a mystery, which adds intrigue to this fight. Indongo also has a perfect record of 22-0 with 11 KOs. He is the IBF and WBA super lightweight champion, but he is an unknown champion. Indongo is from Namibia, which is a small country in southern Africa. This is only his third time fighting outside of Namibia. He hasn’t faced the same level of opposition that Crawford has, but he also defeated Ricky Burns by unanimous decision. It will be interesting to see what he brings to the table against Crawford.
