WWE will hold its annual SummerSlam pay-per-view this Sunday, Aug. 20 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Here’s how much it will cost you to watch the action.
WWE SummerSlam is set for its 30th edition this Sunday, Aug. 20. Eight championships will be decided at the second-biggest show on the WWE calendar, with the Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Universal Championship set to headline the event as Brock Lesnar defends his title against Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman.
The big match for the blue brand has WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defending his title against Shinsuke Nakamura, who’ll be looking for his first taste of gold since being called up to the main roster.
The main show begins at 7:00 p.m. ET with the Kickoff Show going off two hours prior. Two title matches will be featured on the preview show as The New Day defends their SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The Usos and newly-crowned WWE Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa has his rematch with Neville.
The cheapest way to watch WWE SummerSlam is still the WWE Network, which if you’ve forgotten is still just $9.99 per month. However, if you’re still living in the world of buying WWE pay-per-view events from your cable provider, Comcast is offering the event for $44.99 while Verizon has it at $54.99. For those across the pond, Sky Sports is charging £19.95 for customers in the UK and €24.95 in the Republic of Ireland.
