Now that SummerSlam has come and gone, the next big thing on the WWE Network will be the Mae Young Classic. Here’s when you can watch it.

SummerSlam season tended to dominate a lot of the talk throughout July and August in the WWE Universe, and rightfully so given the loaded nature of the card. However, with The Biggest Party of the Summer officially over with, it’s time to turn your attention to the next WWE Network event: the Mae Young Classic.

The Mae Young Classic is a historic first for WWE, with 32 women competing in a single-elimination tournament to take home the inaugural crown of the event. Wrestlers from all over the world will compete (or have competed in the pre-taped tournament) on the big stage under the WWE umbrella, and fans will definitely want to check out the action if they can.

Fans won’t be able to watch the action live until the finals air in a few months, but episodes of the tournament will be released in a staggered fashion over the next few weeks.

The tournament’s first four episodes will be available to stream on the WWE Network on demand starting Monday, Aug. 28, with episodes 5-8 being released on the streaming service the week after on Monday, Sept. 4. The final match of the event will then be streamed live in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Sept. 12, breaking away from the on demand structure.

The tournament will be called by none other than WWE legends and Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Lita, which will be a great way to honor a legend like Mae Young in the best fashion possible. With the Women’s Revolution being a big marketing tool for WWE over the last year and a half, this tournament is a strong step in the right direction to bring more solid talent to the RAW, SmackDown and NXT rosters.

If you’re looking for some great competition and some entertainment to tide you over in the usually slow-going fall months in WWE, look no further than this tournament.
