Wake Forest – Cam Serigne

Tight ends are people too. Cam Serigne is a baller and simply one of the versatile weapons that make every team better. Serigne is the perfect safety blanket for any team, catching 130 passes for 1,519 yards, and 12 touchdowns during his three-year career. Serigne has constantly improved each and every season. Heading into his senior year, Serigne looks to become one of the premier tight ends in college football. Serigne claims he is coming off the best offseason of his life and will be a force in 2017.

"“This has been the best offseason I’ve had in my life,” Serigne said at the annual ACC Football Kickoff. “It’s the first year where Coach told me, ‘No more gaining weight. You’re at a good weight, just focus on being the best football player possible.’” Via Journalnow.com"

Serigne played in high school with Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley. Serigne might not have a quarterback comparable to McSorley at Wake Forest, but John Wolford is a savvy four-year starter that loves to air it out. Wolford has been with Serigne every step of the way who also heads into his Senior year. After a surprising seven win season in 2016, don’t be surprised if Wake Forest is better than you think.

Serigne is a terrific blocking tight end as well that really aids the running game. That wasn’t always the case, however, who was originally recruited as a wide receiver. Serigne may actually be more of a glorified sixth offensive lineman when he’s not snagging catches.
