The big news this week, of course, was Daniel Craigās own announcement that he will be returning as James Bond. But what else has been happening in the world of Bond? Letās look back at the week that was, with an āeye onā the week ahead.
Vintage Classics is set for three new re-releases of Ian Flemingās Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, and Goldfinger. You can check out the covers (in draft form) at MI6 Headquarters.
Logan Lucky, starring Daniel Craig in a supporting role, was released in theaters on Friday. Box office numbers for the independently-released film, have been disappointing.
Top Gear provided its list of the best (and worst) of the Bond vehicles. No surprise that the DB5 and Lotus Esprit are among the best. For the rest, check it out yourself.

Sean Connery will be celebrating his 87th birthday on August 25th. Connery, of course, starred as James Bond in six official Bond films, as well as the non-Eon producedĀ Never Say Never Again. Connery has been something of a recluse since retiringĀ his final film, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, in 2003.
