The Summer of Harden continues in a new Foot Locker spot.

James Harden, fresh off of a massive year and an even bigger contract extension, celebrated his new spoils in a Foot Locker ad in which he reminds the world that no one is having a better summer than him.

In the new spot, Harden is seen running on a treadmill, reminiscing about his lavish lifestyle of private jets and Paris runways. And as he brings up the $170 million extension he signed in early-July — one that brings his current contract into the $230 million range — we zoom out to see he’s actually getting some light cardio in atop the bow of a mega yacht.

The commercial is appropriately accompanied by 21 Savage’s “Bank Account.”

The shoe store spot bookends an incredibly successful three-month span without even mentioning last year’s monster statistical season (in which he earned first team All-NBA honors and was named the runner-up for MVP).

Although a fun tongue-in-cheek commercial for a company that produces a lot of them, there is some truth to the Summer of Harden label.

To go along with his new flush bank account, Harden also saw his team add a future Hall-of-Famer and one of the best point guards in NBA history in Chris Paul.

The blockbuster trade brought together two of the league’s best ballhandlers and creators to join forces in an attempt to topple the reigning (and presumed future) Western Conference champion Golden State Warriors.

If wealth, personal accolades and a chance to win a championship doesn’t make your summer one for the books, what else will?

If the momentum from the Summer of Harden extends into the NBA regular season, there might not be anything that can stop Jame Harden, Chris Paul and the Rockets.

And if the Rockets don’t live up to expectations and Harden falls short of the MVP again, that’ll be okay. At least he’ll have next summer to look forward to.
