The official Super NES Classic Edition trailer is here
The first official trailer for the Super NES Classic Edition has dropped. Now, we’re hoping we’ll actually be able to buy one when it’s released.
It’s about that time of the year again. Last year, the NES Classic Edition took the world by storm. It was something everybody wanted. Unfortunately, the shortages for the console were extremely high at retailers across the globe. If you own the NES Classic, then you’re lucky. With the Super NES Classic Edition coming in September, we’re hoping Nintendo has learned from its mistakes and release enough so everybody can purchase one. We still have a little over a month till it’s out, so for now, we’ll enjoy the new features trailer Nintendo just dropped.
The new trailer doesn’t show anything we didn’t already know. For example, there will be 21 games, along with some pretty nifty features. The suspend/save points will be making a return, which is awesome. Nintendo is also integrating a rewind feature. Besides that, it’ll come with two controllers now, so you can play with friends. Most importantly, StarFox 2 will finally be playable.

Other games include amazing classics, such as Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Donkey Kong Country. It’s funny since we can play all of these games via emulators on the computer or download them from the eShop on the Wii U. However, there’s nothing like playing it on the original console with the feel of the SNES controller.
Like we said, we’re truly hoping we can get our hands on this and not have any problems. Some retailers, like Best Buy, are already setting up pre-orders. We highly recommend to pre-order it if it’s available just to be safe.
The Super NES Classic Edition releases on Sept. 29, 2017.
