There are so many incredibly talented players in college football this season, but we take a look at our top 25 for the 2017 season.

The college football season is only a few weeks away, and it is certain to be another action-packed year. There are some incredible players returning from last season, including Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Lamar Jackson from Louisville. While the debate could go on for days, we take a look at the best 25 players for the upcoming season.

Last season, the Clemson Tigers defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in a national title game for the ages. Deshaun Watson mastered a Crimson Tide defense that was loaded with NFL talent, and both teams return some incredible players in 2017. Each team is represented by at least one player on our list of the top-25 players for this season, so lets dive right in.

Josh Rosen

Quarterback, UCLA

Coming off an incredible freshman season in 2015, Josh Rosen was poised to take the Pac-12 by storm last season. Many publications figured the UCLA Bruins would take control of the conference, led by a player who completed 60 percent of his passes as a freshman. The 2016 season did not work out the way Rosen would have liked it to, and after a handful of games, he was done for the season.

In 2017, Rosen will have to shake off some rust, as the Bruins will open their season against a very solid Texas A&M squad. These two teams opened up the 2016 season as well, with the Bruins losing to the Aggies in overtime, 31-24. Coming off shoulder surgery, all eyes will be on the junior quarterback, and Rosen should be able to deliver on the expectations.

Before he was injured last season, Rosen completed nearly 60 percent of his passes, tossing 10 touchdowns against only five interceptions. The Bruins do not have much of a running game, so you can expect head coach Jim Mora Jr. to have Rosen throwing the ball all around the yard. Many expect Rosen to go early in the 2018 NFL Draft, so the 2017 season is likely his final season playing for the Bruins.
