The Texas A&M Aggies will be without starting quarterback Trevor Knight this season, as he is currently fighting to earn a spot on an NFL roster this summer. While Knight is gone, the Aggies best offensive weapon is back, and he is poised to have another big season. Christian Kirk has been incredibly productive in each of his first two seasons on campus, and a 100-catch season is not out of the realm of possibility in 2017.

Kirk was a first team All-SEC selection this past season, as he caught 83 balls for 928 yards and nine touchdowns. As a freshman in 2015, Kirk went over the 1,000 yard mark, hauling in seven scores along the way. A former five-star recruit, the wideout could be entering his final season with the Aggies, so expect big things from him in his junior year.

Starting for the Aggies as a true freshman, Kirk made his presence known right away. The speedster not only hauled in a receiving touchdown in his debut, but also returned a punt to the house as well. It was just a sign of things to come for Kirk, who should have no problem producing in his junior season, as his new quarterback got some good playing time last year.

Jake Hubenak will take over for Knight, after starting three games last season. He is a pro-style quarterback, who should be able to get Kirk the ball downfield throughout the year. Kirk is going to be productive no matter who is under center, but Hubenak looked good in spurts last season, and as a senior, should be able to command the huddle with no issues in his final season with the Aggies.
