27. Terrell Owens in the NBA

He may not be on any NFL team at the moment, and obviously is up there as far as age is concerned for a professional athlete looking to break in somewhere, but Terrell Owens is still a massive draw when it comes to the sports world. That’s why it’s time to strike the iron while there’s still something there to work with, and create some magic on the basketball court.

Owens was a treat to watch on the football field throughout his career, lighting teams up with his crazy combination of size and speed and his unique personality. However, he slowly fell behind in the game due to injuries, and fans lost out on the chance to watch one of the all-time greats, despite him still being in shape to play.

The next step for Owens may not be on the football field, but rather to step onto the basketball court for his next sport. He has experience with basketball, and apparently an extreme desire to get onto the court based on his interest in playing in Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 basketball league this summer.

While he may not be talented enough to go up against the likes of LeBron James or Kevin Durant, he’d certainly bring in a ton of tickets for any team that wanted to sign him, even for just a season. If a season is too much time, someone should just bring him in for a game and let him celebrate in a different way after every basket.
