The Edmonton Eskimos host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday, Aug. 25. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The Edmonton Eskimos and Saskatchewan Roughriders are at opposite ends of the West Division standings. The Eskimos are in first place but lost their first game of the season 33-26 to Winnipeg. Saskatchewan are 3-4 and coming off a bye week and sit two wins of a playoff spot with two games in hand on the BC Lions.

Injuries might have caught up with the Eskimos, who are without their starting running back, receivers, defensive ends and linebackers. Despite the injuries, quarterback Mike Reilly has led the Eskimos to a 7-1 start. Reilly is third in passing yards and second in touchdown passes. With star receiver Brandon Zylstra returning to the lineup, Edmonton’s passing attack could be even better. Defensively, strong-side linebacker Kenny Ladler is having a breakout season. The second-year player has 43 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Saskatchewan head coach Chris Jones has been on the hot seat since his first day on the job. Jones took the Roughriders job after leading Edmonton to a Grey Cup victory. However, after a rough first season in Saskatchewan, Jones’ team has turned it around. The Roughriders have the second best defense in the league, allowing only 24.5 points per game. Offensively, Duron Carter has caught fire after a slow start to the season. Carter has 259 yards and four touchdowns in the Roughriders last three games.
