Manchester United face Leicester at Old Trafford on Saturday, Aug. 26. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Two games into the Premier League season and Manchester United look like the team to beat. After back-to-back 4-0 wins, United host Leicester at Old Trafford. The Foxes started their season with a 4-3 loss to Arsenal and a 2-0 victory over Brighton.
After two games, Romelu Lukaku is looking like a great signing by United. Lukaku has three goals in his first two games. One of last season’s big signing for the Red Devils, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, struggled in the first half of the season. This season, Mkhitaryan has four assists and is looking more like the player he was in his final season at Borussia Dortmund. Neither West Ham nor Swansea came close to scoring a goal against United, as Jose Mourinho’s side locked down opposing teams before they could get a good chance at scoring.
Offensively, Leicester have come close to resembling the team that won the title two years ago. Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki both have two goals, and Riyad Mahrez has two assists. However, Leicester have struggled defensively, allowing four goals against Arsenal on the opening day of the season. The Foxes are still without center-back Robert Huth and defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy, who have not played this season because of injuries. Newcomer Harry Maguire has played well for Leicester but will be tested against a strong United attack.
