Texans at Saints live stream: TV schedule, time and more
By John Buhler
The New Orleans Saints will host the Houston Texans for a preseason game on Saturday night. Here is how to watch the exhibition game online.
Week 3 of the 2017 NFL preseason it here. All that means is that we are one week closer to real regular season NFL action. One of the games that will be played on Saturday will be between two Gulf Coast teams in the Houston Texans and the New Orleans Saints.
Kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans will be at 8:00 p.m. ET on August 26. KRTK-TV will have the local telecast in the Greater New Orleans area. FOX 8 WVUE will have the local telecast in the Greater New Orleans area. NFL Game Pass and FuboTV will have the available live streams.
With Tom Savage winning the starting quarterback job in Houston over rookie Deshaun Watson, this game is a lot less interesting than what it could have been. Savage has a better feel for the offense, but the Texans’ quarterback future is clearly with the former national champion quarterback of the Clemson Tigers in Watson.
Drew Brees remains the shining beacon of hope in getting the Saints back into the NFC Playoffs. He’s getting up there in age and this team has gone 7-9 in three straight seasons. We know that the Saints will put up points, but will the defense of Dennis Allen be able to stop anybody?

Overall, these are two teams that are playing with a chip on their shoulder for different reasons. Houston might have won the AFC South two years in a row, but don’t have the respect nationally the deserve. For the Saints, this could be it for the Brees/Sean Payton era if it doesn’t go well this year. Payton is in the final year of his contract with New Orleans.
