Of course The Rock will be doing the voiceover for the opening of Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather on Saturday night.

After all the waiting and all the talking, the time has finally arrived for Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather to get into the boxing ring with one another. With an event such as this, all of the celebrities will be out in attendance, and some of them will even be involved in the event itself. Of course, one of those celebrities who will be involved is none other than The Rock himself, Dwayne Johnson.

On Saturday, in a post on his Instagram account, The Rock announced that he will be doing the voiceover for the opening of the event, which will be airing at 9:00 p.m. ET on Showtime PPV.

I mean, when it comes down to it, is there a better person to have do the voiceover for such an event? The Rock is the biggest movie star on the planet at the moment and one of the more recognizable celebrities on the planet. His voice will definitely make the event feel bigger than it already is on Saturday night.

It’s still surreal to think that this fight is actually happening on Saturday night, as just a year ago it was nothing more than a pipe dream for a lot of people. Yet here we are, getting ready to watch one of the greatest spectacles in the history of combat sports. And on Saturday night, the festivities will kick off with the voice of none other than The Rock.

The much-anticipated Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather event will get started at 9:00 p.m. ET, and you can expect the two main stars to hit the ring to battle one another some time around 11:30-midnight ET.
