AC Milan face Cagliari at the San Siro Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 27. Here’s all the info you need to watch. 

After finishing sixth a season ago, AC Milan spent almost €200 million in the transfer window. Milan signed former Juventus center-back Leonardo Bonucci to help improve their defense but also remove a key player from Juventus’ six straight titles-winning teams. After last winning the league in 2010-11, AC Milan’s new ownership is expecting to compete with Juventus for the league title.

Vincenzo Montella’s team started the season with a 3-0 win over Crotone. Crotone were forced to play most of the game down a man after Federico Ceccherini received a red card. Franck Kessie, Patrick Cutrone and Suso scored for Milan in their first win of the season. Against Cagliari, except new signees Andre Silva and Hakan Calhanoglu to play a large role offensively.

After finishing 11th last season, Cagliari had the unwanted task of facing Juventus on the opening weekend of the season. Juventus made easy work of Cagliari, winning 3-0, with goals from Mario Mandzukic, Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala. After one game, it appears that Massimo Rastelli’s side will again be one of the weaker defensive sides. Last season, Cagliari allowed 76 goals, the third most in Serie A. Offensively, Cagliari are led by former AC Milan striker Marco Borriello. Borriello scored 16 goals in Serie A last season and added four more in Coppa Italia.
