Floyd Mayweather confirmed what we all already knew pretty much, that his win on Saturday was his last

Well, after all the waiting and all the anticipation, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor stepped into the boxing ring with one another Saturday night in Las Vegas. And, you know what? This was actually a lot more entertaining than most thought it would be. When it was all said and done, though, it was Mayweather who moved to 50-0 with his 10th-round TKO win after Conor pretty much ran out of gas.

Now, it must be remembered that prior to taking this fight, Mayweather was retired. His last fight was back in 2015 against Andre Berto, and that is where he said he was done at 49-0. However, the flash of potentially getting to 50-0 was too much to shy away from against what many saw as a sure win against McGregor and, well, here we are.

After the fight was over, though, “Money” once again stated that he will never fight again after this win.

Sure, he has says this before, as we already mentioned. However, you have to think that this is it. This was a spectacle that was basically just one huge payday, so this was something that no one would really turn down, much less someone like Mayweather. With no big money fights really on tap for the future, it could be believed that we have seen the last of Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring.

And so the career of one of the best ever ends at 50-0, which is an impressive feat no matter how you want to look at it.
