Is Power new tonight, August 27? Fans of the Starz drama may be wondering if they’ll be able to catch a new installment of Power season 4 this Sunday, as the current season is just a step away from the end.
But you’ll have to wait until next week to catch the Power season 4 finale. Power is not new tonight; Starz is airing episodes of the show’s Sunday night lead-out, Survivor’s Remorse, in the 9 p.m. time slot instead.
Why the change? We don’t have any official word from the network, but perhaps Starz didn’t want the biggest episode of its best original series competing directly with the Game of Thrones season 7 finale. Game of Thrones finishes its season tonight at 9 p.m. on HBO.
Whatever the reason, fans who are more interested in what happens to Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and his crew only have a short delay. Power will return to the schedule next Sunday, Sept. 3 for its fourth season finale.
We’ll find out if Ghost will be able to complete his climb back to the top after starting season 4 behind bars, if he and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) will ever be able to get back to the way things used to be between them, and how many more people will end up dead in a season that hasn’t skimped on the drama.
