Mayweather vs. McGregor: Conor McGregor walks out to ring

Ready to fight Floyd Mayweather, UFC star Conor McGregor looked stoic as he made his way to the ring for his first-ever professional boxing match.

History was made on Saturday night in Las Vegas as Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather squared off in the boxing match and fight of a lifetime. The UFC star and the boxing legend made a fantasy become a reality just making the fight happen. Yet, it still felt surreal even as fight day was here.

For many people, the fight wasn’t going to be real until both men were in the ring. And on Saturday night just after midnight, it became real. Conor McGregor was the first one to come out to the ring. There was many people speculating about what song he would walk out to, but it was no surprise.

McGregor came to the ring to his normal walkout song and the crowd absolutely went wild, as expected. The Irish came out in droves to support their countryman, as expected:

What stands out, however, was how stoic McGregor was as he came out to the ring. This was his first-ever boxing match, and he looked like a seasoned veteran.
