Mayweather vs. McGregor: Floyd walks out to ring in a ski mask (Video)

Before his fight against Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather had an interesting choice of attire for his walkout.

The time has come for Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor to finally throw down inside the boxing ring.

Before the fight took place, we saw both men walk out to the ring in a history making moment that will be talked about by the combat sports world for many years to come.

After McGregor walked out in his typical Irish-based manner, Mayweather took the walk down in an astonishing getup that already set social media ablaze with questions and praise.

One to not shy away from a very fashionable walkout, Mayweather continued this by rocking a ski mask to the ring amongst the rest of his black and gold attire.

As Mayweather is known to do, he did attract boos but it didn’t seem to detract him from his goal.

Of course, there is a clear message that is being sent to McGregor from Mayweather in his fashion choice. Could he be saying that he’s ready to rob the aspiration from McGregor in his overambitious quest to conquer the sport of boxing?

Who knows. But this walkout is memorable for several reasons.

For one, Mayweather is clocking in a record breaking fiftieth professional boxing match in an already incredible career. In the same breath, he is also going up against a man that many have predicated will be the one in 49-1, which is cause for concern for anyone with the legacy that Mayweather has created.

As a source of comfort, however, Mayweather looked about as comfortable as can be while walking out to the fight. His confidence was certainly nothing to be worried about.

Now, the world will bear witness to a history making event for the combat sports world. For Mayweather, this is the one that means everything for him but fortunately, he looked focused and willing to school the boxing novice in McGregor.
