Following its big season 4 debut, The Last Ship returns this Sunday night and it looks like Chandler’s in for some trouble, so here’s how to watch The Last Ship online.

The Last Ship finally came back last week with a two-episode double-hitter and put us in an awkward position.

We’ve got a super new threat on the horizon, but too bad, because Tom’s not around. Tom Chandler, our esteemed leader of the Nathan James isn’t captaining the ship. Instead, he’s joined something a little more … hands on.

As you can see in the preview below, good ol’ Tom will be seeking some sage advice on helping mankind and also punching one’s enemies in the face. Check it out:

If you think about this, it’s kind of like Thor: Ragnorak, where Chandler gets to be Thor or something. In fact, I’m wondering why Eric Dane hasn’t gotten a superhero film role yet. Since Marvel’s pretty sorted in the casting department and is just so last year, l can totally imagine Dane doing something over at DC in one of the many upcoming films they currently have on the board. Hal Jordan / Green Lantern? Totally. Especially if Justice League takes place after the heyday of Lanterns and already follows an older, weary Batman.

Now, let’s check out the synopsis for The Last Ship season 4’s new episode, courtesy of TV Guide:

"Nathan James’s crew searches for a precious item, leading them to a strange place of opulence and violence where they cross paths with a most unexpected ally."
