Tottenham face Burnley at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 27. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Premier League match.
After a relatively straightforward 2-0 win over Newcastle to start the season, Tottenham were defeated at “home” by defending Premier League champs Chelsea last Sunday. The only goal Spurs scored, which was sandwiched between a Marcos Alonso brace, was an own goal.
There was talk before the season about how playing their home games at Wembley Stadium would affect Tottenham. Should they falter against Burnley on Saturday that talk will surely tilt towards the negative. With all that said, it’s hard to see how the visitors neutralize the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
Burnley submitted their entry for most shocking upset of the season in the first week, knocking off Chelsea 3-2 at Stamford Bridge. They came back down to Earth last Saturday, losing a 1-0 to West Brom at home. Forward Sam Vokes, who scored a brace in matchweek 1, will need to play hero once again if his side hope to compete with Spurs.

Tottenham will hope to prove the Wembley Stadium is just as friendly to them as White Hart Lane. A big win on Sunday would go a long way to convincing people of that. Burnley will hope they still have a little magic from their win over Chelsea left in the tank.
