What’s happening in the world of James Bond? Let’s take a look at what has made the news this past week, while also looking ahead to next week.

Winter is Coming
Headlines
- The Nintendo 64 game Goldeneye 007 celebrated its 20th birthday this past week. And at least for one publication, it is an opportunity to praise the video game for its storyline and ability to give single or multiple players a dynamic gaming experience. To say the least, Goldeneye was a heavy influence on gamers and Bond fans alike.
- Beyonce in talks to sing the theme song for Bond 25? According to some reports (rumors), this is the case. However, given that the film is still two years away, it seems like it’s a bit early for those discussions.
- Another rumor, for what it’s worth: Daniel Craig has a “no nudity” clause in his contract for Bond 25. Consider the source, here, but it can lead to a healthy discussion of what is meant by “nudity” in regards to a Bond film.
- The Internet Movie Database is listing Shatterhand as a working title for Bond 25. This is a development worth keeping an “eye on.”
- Dynamite Comics announced the release of a new James Bond comic, titled Solstice, due out later this year.
