Here is where you can find information about the date and location of this year’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.

For the first time since 2003, WWE will bring the fall classic known as the Survivor Series back to the Lone Star State. This year, all eyes will be on the Toyota Center in downtown Houston, Texas on November 19.

The Survivor Series is the annual tradition that takes place every November, and is the last original pay-per-event of the year. While there are still big events in December, the fallout of the Survivor Series usually starts setting the table for the Royal Rumble in January. And this year’s will be no different.

In 1994, the event landed at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. That night, WWE fans saw the legendary Bret “Hitman” Hart lose the WWE Championship to Mr. Bob Backlund. Bret’s younger brother, Owen, played a crucial part in that, convincing their mother to throw the towel in and cost Bret the title.

WWE returned to Texas in 2003, when they stormed into the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The Undertaker lost a Buried Alive match to Vince McMahon, thanks to a little help from Kane. It would be the final time we would see the Dead Man before his spectacular return to the darkside at WrestleMania XX.

Fourteen years later, the Survivor Series will land in Texas once again. Granted, there is still three months until that eventful night, but one can only imagine what the WWE landscape will look like when we get there.
