Like throughout most of the past regular season leading up to the announcement of the league MVP award, Russell Westbrook is at the center of this discussion. His overall rating is a mirror image of Stephen Curry’s, and until the game drops and more detailed information is available about both players’ individual skill ratings, that’s all the discussion has to revolve around.

This is another important difference between the electronic and actual NBA. Curry and Westbrook can simultaneously be the best point guards in the game. Which one a particular gamer uses largely depends on what style of basketball that gamer prefers to play. Of course, it’s likely that Curry’s supporting cast will be higher-rated across the board than Westbrook’s, but that doesn’t detract from the enjoyment that gamers should get from playing with Westbrook.
