During Nintendo’s Nindies Showcase on Wednesday, Travis Strikes Again, a No More Heroes game, was revealed. It’ll be a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

Nintendo hosted a Nindies Showcase during PAX West on Wednesday. Like always, the company reveals a variety of indie games that fans will want to play. However, it always looks to close off the stream with an absolute bang. For fans of Travis Touchdown, he’ll be making his highly anticipated return to the Nintendo Switch with Travis Strikes Again, a new No More Heroes game.

The first entry in the series, No More Heroes, released as a Wii exclusive back in 2007. Eventually, it made its way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010 with No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise. A direct sequel to the game was another Wii exclusive called No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

We won’t go ahead and say this series is extremely popular with everyone. If you owned a Wii, then there’s a slight chance you played this game. Then again, there’s also a chance you didn’t. It’s one of those games that, we believe, flew under the radar. However, it did receive rave reviews at the time of its release and has gained a respectable fanbase.

Some fans will be pleased to see it’s finally making a comeback with Travis Strikes Again. Check out the new trailer below:

As of right now, game details are very scarce. Most of it is still a mystery, which is why we want to learn more about it. What we do know is the art style is as intriguing as ever. Plus, from the other games, we can say the action is ridiculously violent and the soundtrack is extremely memorable. If the developers can recreate this for the new game, then it could be something special.

A release window is currently unknown. Some details include it being create with the Unreal Engine 4. Grasshopper Manufacture, Marvelous, and others are also lending a hand in development.
