Where can you find the ninth episode of Snowfall online?
Last week’s episode of Snowfall saw Franklin move firmly into the position of an executive. When he started dealing drugs, he relied on a supplier, who got him the product but also took a large cut of his profit. That was with cocaine. In the seventh episode, “Cracking,” Franklin was introduced to the titular drug. He was taught how to manufacture it and was the first person to bring crack into the L.A. market he dealt in.
Having solo access to a new and exciting drug allowed Franklin to take control of his business. Knowing how to manufacture the drug meant that he did not have to rely on a supplier and could form his own network. He could also, in theory, charge more for the drug because there wouldn’t be competition.
The conflict faced by Franklin in episode 8 centered around his friend Leon. Franklin had used Leon’s connections to recover some money that had been stolen from him earlier in the season. Fine, but the man Leon brought in to help brutally beat and raped the thief. Last week, that man got his revenge, murdering Leon. At this point I didn’t even feel bad about it. Leon was not the one who actually raped him, but he was the other man’s way in, as it were.
The first season of Snowfall consists of 10 episodes, so this week should really begin to tie things together. The synopsis reads:
"Franklin suffers the cost of his business. Also: Teddy’s mental state deteriorates as his situation worsens and Gustavo and Lucia discuss how they should proceed."

I have kind of run out of sympathy for Franklin at this point. He is no longer a wide-eyed innocent victim of a brutal business. He knows what he’s dealing with. Or if not, he is almost comically naive and imperceptive.
Lucia’s situation warrants a bit more compassion. She is trying to reshape her company in an almost exclusively male-dominated world. But her relationship with Gustavo has made some of the men around her take her less seriously. See her as more of a “girl” than a serious businessperson. The depressing thing is that degree of prejudice there isn’t even unusual.
I’m not sure Teddy really knows what he’s doing anymore. The synopsis makes it sound like he is questioning everything, including maybe his sanity. We’ll see where that goes.
