Oklahoma State and Tulsa will go head-to-head on the first full week of college football. A look at how to watch the game online.
The 2017 college football season will be in full swing as September kicks off. Games will be played by some of the top teams in the nation, including contenders for conference championships and the National Championship. This goes for Oklahoma State, who will play Tulsa on Thursday.
The Cowboys have high expectations for 2017, as quarterback Mason Rudolph will return. He looked like a Heisman Trophy candidate in 2016 but was upstaged by Lamar Jackson of Louisville and Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma. This season might be different, especially if Oklahoma State can finish in the top five of the polls and have a landmark year.
Rudolph will also look for his second consecutive 4,000-yard season. Over 1,000 of those yards could go to star wide receiver James Washington. He’ll be the top target on Thursday and throughout the year, so the sky’s the limit for what kind of production he might put up in this high-powered offense.
Outside of these two, there’s running back Justice Hill. He topped 1,000 yards in 2016 and should be in for a stellar sophomore campaign.
Tulsa had its own top-tier offense in 2016. However, most of that group is gone, including quarterback Dane Evans.
The replacement for Evans hasn’t been made official yet by the Tulsa coaching staff. Chad President and Luke Skipper fought for the job throughout the summer. Will both of them play on Thursday night?
