Redskins at Buccaneers live stream: TV schedule, time and more
By John Buhler
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Washington Redskins for the fourth and final preseason game on Thursday. Here is how to watch the game online.
Outside of the Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans game that has been cancelled due to Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area, the other 30 NFL teams will be playing their last preseason game on Thursday night. One of those games will feature the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Redskins.
Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on August 31 will be at 7:30 p.m. ET. Local NBC affiliate WFLA-TV will have the local telecast in the Tampa Bay Area. NBC 4 will have the telecast in the Greater Washington area. NFL Game Pass and FuboTV will have the available live streams for this exhibition game.
Last year, Tampa Bay and Washington were just on the outside looking in at making the NFC playoffs. Washington still finished above .500 after winning the NFC East in 2015, but still came up a game short of making them. Tampa Bay had a strong season under first-year head coach Dirk Koetter, but lost the tiebreaker to the Detroit Lions for the No. 6 seed.
Tampa Bay has lofty expectations this year, while Washington does not. The Buccaneers have drafted well and made some great moves in free agency. If they don’t make the playoffs this year, it would be considered a disappointment. As for the Redskins, the NFC East is always competitive, so they have a shot. However, Washington is getting the least amount of buzz coming out of that division entering the season.

Don’t expect to see most of the starters in any capacity in this game. If you’re into seeing fringe players competing for one of the last spots on a 53-man roster, well, this is the sort of game you’d definitely be in to.
