The next Sonic entry in the franchise, Sonic Forces, has a release date, and if you pre-order the bonus edition, you’ll get some awesome content.

With the recent and successful release of Sonic Mania, Sega is looking to double up. We’ve known for quite some time that Sonic Forces is happening. So far, everything we’ve seen about the game looks very promising, which is encouraging. There’s no denying the state of the Sonic series the last couple of years. However, the future is bright for Sega and the Sonic franchise. On Thursday, an official release date for Sonic Forces was revealed along with some other new details.

If you plan on purchasing the Bonus edition, you’ll be able to get your hands on a variety of awesome content. For example, a controller skin. Whether you buy it on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll get a neat controller skin. Obviously, they all look slightly different since it’s a different controller for each console. But, at its core, it’s the same skin.

Plus, you’ll be able to get your hands on some very cool costumes, which are inspired by other popular games. There’s the Jet Set Radio costume, which you can sport some glasses and an outfit. There’s also a Persona 5 costume, which helps you look like Joker with the mask and the outfit.
