Steelers at Panthers live stream: TV schedule, time and more
By John Buhler
The Carolina Panthers will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth and final preseason game. Here is how to watch this exhibition game online.
Thursday night will be the last night of preseason football. The 2017 NFL season will be under way shortly, but we’ve got a full slate of exhibition games on tap for August 31. One of those games will be between the Carolina Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Kickoff from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte will be at 7:30 p.m. ET. PTV will have the local broadcast in the Greater Charlotte area. CBS local affiliate KDKA-TV will carry the broadcast in the Greater Pittsburgh area. NFL Game Pass and FuboTV will have the available live streams for this exhibition contest.
Though most of the starters will not be playing in this fourth preseason game, the Panthers and the Steelers are two teams in the NFL that are deep and should be in the playoffs at the end of the year.
For the Steelers, it’s all about dethroning the New England Patriots in the AFC. New England is a bona fide juggernaut, but the consensus is that Pittsburgh is probably the second-best team in the AFC entering the season. The Steelers lost the 2016 AFC Championship game on the road to New England in Foxborough.
Now with the Panthers, they are looking to overcome a rough 2016 season, one where they went 6-10 after reaching the Super Bowl the previous year. Many expect Carolina to rebound, but the NFC South has gotten better overall. There are no slouch teams in this division.
