Texas A&M vs. UCLA: Preview, predictions, TV schedule and more
Although neither team will start the season in the AP Top 25 poll, the matchup between Texas A&M and UCLA remains one of the opening week’s most intriguing games. Here’s a preview, along with how and when to tune in and a final prediction.
One of the final games of the opening weekend in college football will take place in one of the most prestigious stadiums in the spot: the Rose Bowl. Texas A&M, led by junior star wideout Christian Kirk, will travel to Pasadena to face junior quarterback Josh Rosen and the UCLA Bruins on Sunday night.
In last season’s encounter, the Aggies survived a barnburner to open the 2016-17 campaign with a 31-24 overtime victory over the Bruins. UCLA scored 15 in the final quarter to force an extra session, but the Aggies got a go-ahead score from Oklahoma transfer quarterback Trevor Knight in overtime and held off the Bruins on their lone offensive possession.
