It’s another weekend of three races from two different locations, culminating with NASCAR’s annual throwback weekend at the Track Too Tough to Tame.
One awesome part of the calendar flipping to September for race fans is that it’s Darlington time again. NASCAR has smartly leaned into the nostalgia surrounding the Southern 500 and made it a throwback weekend, one new annual tradition that’s a definite positive.
While both the Cup Series and XFINITY Series drivers try their best to tame Darlington, the Camping World Truck Series is also in action, albeit a long way from South Carolina. The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park means it’s more road racing for the trucks, perhaps giving us another surprise winner like Jeremy Clements was in the XFINITY Series last week.
In any case, there’s plenty of racing to watch on TV this holiday weekend, and spread over multiple channels. Here’s the full TV schedule for Darlington and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, courtesy of NASCAR.com.
