The Clemson Tigers marching band started out the college football season by showing everyone they can be a bunch of savages.

As we all remember, one of the matchups in the College Football Playoff last year saw the Clemson Tigers take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in a game that most thought would be pretty competitive. However, the game turned out to be anything but, as the eventual national champion Clemson just went out in Glendale and embarrassed the Buckeyes to the tune of 31-0, letting their next opponent Alabama know that they meant business.

It truly was an odd sight seeing an Urban Meyer team getting drubbed so badly on a stage such as the College Football Playoff, and while they don’t play in the same conference, it did give Clemson some bragging rights until the next time they do meet on the field.

Well, the Clemson band is taking that whole bragging rights thing pretty seriously. On Saturday during halftime of their Week 1 game against Kent State, the Clemson band pulled off this savage troll of the Buckeyes to remind everyone what happened last December in Arizona.

We’ve seen bands troll before, but this one is right up there with some of the best. There wasn’t even a hidden meaning in this message, like there are in some — they got straight to the point of shaping out the final score of that game.

But, hey, when you’re the defending national champions and you pound someone like Ohio State in the manner that you did, then you reserve the right to throw some shade.

Just remember — Urban Meyer never forgets, and these teams very well may meet one another once again later this year if things shake out the right way for both.
